from the exterior a very impressive looking large
teakwood hotel. The hotel is located so that many of the
rooms have a splendid view on the nearby Shwedagon
Pagoda. Rooms on the other side have a scenic view of
Kandawgyi Lake. The rooms are nicely styled with
teakwood floors. A swimming pool is set in the garden at
the back of the hotel near two large 'honeymoon
bungalows'. The moderately sized grounds at the rear of
the hotel are pleasingly landscaped down to the lakes
